"I have a 11 month German Shepherd...all I have to say is my dog Bruce has learned more in the two training sessions with Nicole than the 18 previous training sessions with other Trainers. I am extremely excited to see how Bruce does! Thanks Nicole!"

What’s Included?

1. Private Lessons

We will do 4 lessons in the first month and then 2 a month.  The total number lessons is individual to each owner and dog based on what training help they need, how much training they want to do and the issues going on with the dog.

We have some students who only do 6 lessons, others train with us for months, learning all we teach and many in-between.  Some just continue training cause it’s fun and they enjoy doing the lessons with their dogs.

2.  Exclusive Client Support Group

This group provides support in between lessons.  You can ask questions without having to wait until your next lesson.  You’ll also see what others are doing with their dogs, have exclusive first access to workshops and events being held by Freedom Dog Training Academy as well as see dog’s that we are working with in their programs.

You’ll be part of a community with the goal of improving training to have fun with their dogs for many years to come.

3. Additional Online Resources

In addition to our private lessons and Exclusive Client Support Group, you’ll have a third support system in the form of our online courses. You can refer back to lessons for step by step instruction videos and numerous examples of many dogs.

When you sign up for a Private Lesson Membership, we’ll be in contact with you to schedule your first lesson as well as send you our veterinary form.  We don’t want your first lesson to be delayed by veterinary records.

We have no vaccination requirements for any virtual or online services where we are not meeting in person.  We do recommend to at a minimum have your dog up to date on rabies when doing training with us in any format.

For in person services at our location: In our on-going effort to provide you and your dog’s with the best care and service possible as well as provide a clean and healthy environment for all, we require ALL dogs that participate in any activity at our Freedom Dog Training Academy location provide proof of the following veterinary records from a licensed veterinarian.

For puppies 8-20 weeks:

a) rabies vaccination no later than 16 weeks of age

b) age appropriate distemper/parvo combo shots

c) negative fecal within 30 days of the first appointment and then updated every yearly thereafter

For dogs 21 weeks and older:

a) rabies vaccination (1 or 3 years)

b) distemper/parvo combo (1yr, 3 yrs or a yearly titer)

c) negative fecal within 6 months of the first appointment and then updated yearly thereafter

If your dog tests positive on their fecal, they need to be treated.  After treatment, a new fecal test will be needed to make sure the treatment has worked.  Some parasites require more than one round of treatment to get rid of them.

We don’t require the bordetella vaccine but Client is welcome to have their dog vaccinated with bordetella. Client understands that even if Client’s dog is vaccinated against kennel cough (bordetella) or not vaccinated, there is a chance that the owner’s dog can still contract kennel cough.

We appreciate your willingness to help us keep our facility as clean and safe as possible for the enjoyment of all.

For training at your home we do not require a fecal test.
