First Private Lesson Information

Thank you for scheduling your first lesson with us!  Please read the information below based on where you are having your First Lesson as there is some information that is different between the two.

We are looking forward to starting training with you and your dog!

First Private Lesson at our Location

If you have been scheduled to do your first lesson at our location, we are looking forward to you seeing our beautiful property.  This may be your first or second time to our location if you have done a Meet & Greet or done another service with us.   We are located at 11275 North Tabler Road, Minooka, IL 60447.

Before your First Private Lesson

Before your First Lesson appointment, please make sure to fill out the Vet Record Form that will come to you by text or you can access the form by CLICKING HERE.  If you did this for your Meet & Greet and no veterinary records have changed since then, you don’t need to do this again for the First Lesson.

We’ll be using food with your dog for training.  Please do not feed your dog withing 4-5 hours minimum before their first lesson.  If they are an adult dog, we recommend just feeding one of their meals and bringing the other meal for the lesson.  For example if the lesson is in the morning, don’t feed breakfast but bring breakfast with to use as training.  If an afternoon or evening lesson, feed breakfast and then bring your dog’s dinner with.

We will also be using food with your dog. If your dog has any food allergies or sensitivities, please let us know and provide us with food we can use so that we do not upset your dog’s tummy.

During your First Private Lesson

We will meet you in the driveway and proceed from there to our training room for the First Lesson.  Please have your dog on a secure collar and a 4-6 foot leash so that they cannot slip out of equipment and get loose in the driveway or as we walk to the training room.  Please no retractable or flexi leashes.  Also please have enough people present to control all dogs that you bring to the First Lesson.

We will also be using food with your dog. If your dog has any food allergies or sensitivities, please let us know and provide us with food we can use so that we do not upset your dog’s tummy.

At the end of your Individual Private Lesson, you can decide if you want to schedule another lesson, change to a private lesson program or not do any further lessons.

Just as with a Meet & Greet, if you decide you want to sign up and pay a nonrefundable booking fee within 72 hours of your of an Individual Private Lesson for one of the following training options, $45 will go toward the program.

We are looking forward to meeting you and your dog!
